I want to be blind and deaf to everything that does not come from You Lord

Plunged into silence I immerse myself in prayer.

I close my eyes to not see the meanness of the world.

I cover my ears so as not to hear the media noise that envelops everything.

I am blind and deaf because it is Your will God!

They reach out their hands looking for support.

But not with you God!

In other people

In pagan idols

In sects and deviant teachings

I want to be blind and deaf

To everything that does not come from You Lord

I earnestly desire You to open the eyes of my soul

Make me hear Your call:

Leave everything and be with me!

This is all my soul needs

The water of life that only You my God give

My Lord You know that I always get up

My Lord You know that I never give up

That’s why I’m here where I am

Though my soul will be sad until death

With joy I accept

The gift of repentance

The gift of rejection

Only sometimes I lack strength

I would like to shout:

God take me away!

I am silent, immersed in prayer.

I am silent loving You my God.
