Quietly kneel somewhere in hiding, whispering I ask you in prayer – give me God’s strength a little, so not much, a little is enough. After all, you said – like a grain of mustard seed is enough to move mountains. I don’t want anything big, only to rise after a fall – not right away bom poor dust, I can lie in the mud. There is my place, but in sin do not let me abide Lord.
Man is always looking for an answer, but when he gets it he debates.
So what is he really looking for ?
He is not looking for the truth. Man is looking for confirmation that his actions and thoughts are right. Unfortunately, this is very rarely the case, and so he discusses and pretends to be wise, and the truth that stands before him is invisible to him. The closer he gets to it, the harder it is for him to see it.
The greatest wisdom appears to him as questioning the truth, lesser fervor is shown in finding lies.People who do evil and blaspheme against God are justified by ignorance. No premeditation or deceit is recognized; they are supported, instead of being openly condemned. But seeing the inconvenient truth, most are ready to see in it a lie that is not there. Then mercy disappears, and only ruthless attack remains.
Why do they act this way – seemingly irrationally? The answer is, as usual, simple. The truth very often contradicts a person’s behavior and perceptions, and admitting mistakes is not in the character of today’s people. They are so convinced of their infallibility and worse, their greatness, that they are ready in the name of their own worthless rationale – to discuss, destroy even their own families and go to the courts to prove something that has no meaning anyway. Because, after all, if you break up the family, children condemning to the trauma of divorce, what does it give you to know that you won?You know who will accuse you – not our Lord, but your own children. And they will suffer. But divorce is just one example.
Discussions, but not about spiritual things needed for the growth of faith – only about certain, long-established truths – this is a topic for inquiry. Simple explanations are met with criticism that this is a “catechism view.” And what is it supposed to be? The catechism is there to speak simply about the truths of the faith, not theological musings. Besides, a Catholic doesn’t need anything else. Faith is simple and doesn’t need theological considerations – it’s man who can convolute everything so that later theologians have to figure out how to untangle these knots.
Faith puts everything on God and for God. His will is the supreme good, it is enough to adhere to it. And so it has been for centuries, but modernism, the sewage of all heresies, has appeared. People think they are Catholics, and most likely they don’t even know any real Catholics.
They inquire whether the Mass is a memorial or whether there is transubstantiation, but after all, for a Catholic this is not a matter for discussion. Move to some Protestant sect – there such things inquire, these are their errors and heresies. Celibacy bothers you? – The road is open and as wide as a highway. Change not what is unchangeable, which is the Church established by our Lord Jesus Christ, only if you have a different opinion, then go where they agree with you. It won’t change anything that you call yourself a Catholic if you believe like a Protestant. Great thinkers themselves, every other one is a theologian, and they don’t even know the Gospel.
Do you want to debate? With whom? Kneel before God, not before your image in the mirror. You like yourself, worship your rationale, then Satan likes you too. Flimsy gunpowder is not gold, it’s just tombak shimmering in a false rainbow.
Discuss and fight against those who sold the faith of their fathers, or rather grandfathers. Say stop the heresies, say stop the lies, and not like the whole media sewage you shout the truth. It’s hard for you to even assume that you are wrong and someone else is right – that’s how great you are.
Sad is my soul until death. – What beautiful words. And yet so many today shout: merry is my soul until death. They live a lie. And then only weeping and gnashing of teeth.
Finding no fault in Him, the Jews nevertheless shouted: crucify! His blood on us!
Hearing the truth now they also react this way. People also shout – crucify! – although they do not find the lie. They discuss and accuse, but they do not see the beam in their own eye.
In silence I kneel before God. Time is running out, justice is ready.
And where are you and what are you ready for?
In silence I kneel. In the circle of lies there is only man. God is the truth, so man cannot be God, only his inverse….
