On striving for perfection (Cardinal John Bona)

1.If you want to be good, you must first believe that you are bad. You will never become better if you do not desire spiritual progress. Not wanting to progress means the same as going backwards. So persist in good resolutions, and if you can hasten to come to the use of the peace of… Continue reading

Passion of Mary

The Lord Jesus stayed in a village called Bethany, about two miles from Jerusalem, and according to St Bonaventure it was in the house of Mary and Martha, with whom the Blessed Virgin was also present. On the fifth day of the week, the Lord sent Peter and John to Jerusalem to prepare the Passover… Continue reading

IN SANGUINE TUO – Msgr. Vigano’s homily on the external solemnity of the Most Precious Blood of Our Lord Jesus Christ

Redemisti nos, Domine, in sanguine tuo,ex omni tribu, et lingua, et populo, et natione:et fecisti nos Deo nostro regnum. Rev 5:9-10 Dear brothers and sisters, First of all, allow me to share with you my serenity of mind in facing this trial. I experienced the same inner peace when, a few years ago, I rediscovered… Continue reading

Only one religion can be true – St. J. S. Pelczar

We are confronted with the objection: All religions are based on truth and give man some rule of life: is it not right, then, to leave him to his will what religion he wishes to follow? This is not right, for as God is one and truth one, so only one religion can be true;… Continue reading

What the Cross of Jesus teaches us.

The Cross of the Lord Jesus gives us a teaching of infinite value for salvation; a teaching of what sin is and what the human soul is. I. In what way will the Cross encourage us to avoid sin? It is not difficult to see this. The Cross says to us that sin is the… Continue reading

Abiding with your thoughts on Christ transforms your heart!

We will see this more clearly if we consider that we feel something different when addressing or speaking of our friends when they are present, and something different when they are absent. Their presence is a point of reference for us; it acts as an external law that shows us what to do and what… Continue reading

Christianity and World Order: Danger to Globalists, Clarity in Faith

The simplicity of the faith handed down to us by the Beloved Saviour is based on truth alone. All other aspects are, as it were, merely complements arising from the central premise. Yes, I am aware of the fact that today’s theologians, or to put it more simply, rather the celebrities of a given milieu,… Continue reading

Pray to the Blessed Virgin with faith and stand before God with humility!

If God had not tempered the just judgments of justice with mercy, the earth with all mankind under the weight of sins would have collapsed into hell; and apart from destruction, would have left no trace. But God, in His infinite mercy for us, had mercy on creation; and, unmindful of His own offense, sacrificed… Continue reading

Let us ask Mary, what is the kindest thing we can do for her?

…Mary will help us, too, to free our souls from the vile bondage in which they may have groaned for years. We were born in slavery, but by God’s grace we were set free, we do not know how to value freedom, and we do not shun slavery. A strange contradiction in our reason; a… Continue reading

If, living in madness, in unbelief, we despise the cross, we perish! – Fr. Karol Antoniewicz

…Marya is still standing under the cross, trembling and pale, she sees Longina’s sharp spear aimed at the heart that has already stopped beating! This wound of the heart, this last drop of blood was still needed to complete the work of our redemption. And the spear struck this most holy heart and brought forth… Continue reading
About Me
Let us build the Church in souls on the rock of our faith. God is Spirit and we should worship Him in spirit and truth. Now in the times of apostasy of the Catholic Church administration, when very often we do not have access to real priests, this is very important. It will allow us not only to survive, but also to strengthen our faith. The truth, even if it is hard for us, always comes from God. Let’s not live in a lie. The father of lies is Satan. Let us remember this. The truth is the determinant by which I am guided when I write for several years on the Polish website I founded http://www.niewolnikmaryi.com and it will be the same here – in the English version.
Ps. I encourage suggestions for the translation. It will help me a lot.
