A left-wing, radically liberal Italian newspaper is currently celebrating the 50th anniversary of its founding—half a century of relentless attacks on Christian values, the family, and common sense. Although “silence is golden,” as we have observed for years, Vatican residents love to voice their communist-progressive views.
Leo XIV’s praise for La Repubblica.
In his congratulatory letter, he praised, among other things: – the constant and carefully cultivated contact with readers over 50 years,
– recognition of freedom as a criterion for describing the history of Italy, the world, and the Church,
– pointing to the newspaper as an important vantage point for observing reality, rooted in Rome—the Pope’s diocese,
– praise for reading reality “with freedom,”
– acknowledgment of the fact that the newspaper has been recounting the history of the Church for half a century,
– emphasis on the importance of freedom of the press,
– praise for the diversity of opinions, viewpoints, and cultures,
– an emphasis on transparency and reliability in media reporting,
– recognition of the newspaper’s role as a place for the confrontation of opinions which—if not hostile—serves the common good,
– emphasis on the importance of dialogue as a path to peace,
– a wish that the newspaper continue to create communication that is free, dialogical, oriented toward the search for truth, and free of prejudice.

Is there truly much to congratulate, if—should a gospel of Satan exist—this newspaper strongly resembles it?
The ideological positions of La Repubblica—in brief: – Abortion – full support for legalization, treating it as a “fundamental right,” criticism of doctors’ conscience clauses, and the narrative of “reproductive health” and “choice.”
– Gender / gender identity – acceptance of gender as a social construct, separation of biological sex from identity, support for transgender rights, promotion of inclusive language.
– LGBT+ – full support for same-sex marriage and adoption, opposition to any restrictions.
– Family – redefinition of the concept, recognition of multiple family models, no privileging of the traditional model.
– Education and culture – support for sexual and equality education, promotion of anti-discrimination narratives.
– State and law – emphasis on secularism, limiting the influence of religion on law, support for liberal moral reforms.
– Language and narrative – use of progressive terminology, critical framing of conservative positions, frequent use of words such as “progress,” “freedom,” and “inclusion.”
The best summary—Prof. Massimo Viglione’s reaction to Leo XIV’s congratulatory letter: “For a pope to write to La Repubblica, offering congratulations on the 50 years of its existence and its relentless, unparalleled activity of lies in all directions, elevated to a system of popular indoctrination and generational leading to the brink of an anti-human abyss—this is like writing to Lucifer, congratulating him on the anniversary of his fall into hell.”

There is nothing more to add—except that for decades there has been a mandate to flee as far away as possible from the satanic Vatican.
