…Our brothers are dying all over the world.
Who is killing them?
We ourselves, through our silence.

Murderers walk the streets of our cities.

They laugh in our faces.
We kneel before them, and not before God.

Our end is coming, and we will die
singing a false song of love,
Of mercy without limits.

Children are left only with tears.
There is no one to defend them.

People are even afraid to write now.
They only stare mindlessly at screens.

Physically, not all of us are dying yet—
Spiritually, we have long been corpses.
