When the soul cries,
tears do not flow in streams,
but the body dies under heavy drops,
which like sins scourge Christ the Lord.
Like nails pierce His members.
The soul never cries because of human torments –
they are after all only crosses,
with which our life is marked.
The soul cries when you bypass the crosses, do not lift them,
you flee into sin, into perdition.
The weight of evil cannot crush you,
you close yourself in the darkness,
you build your tomb
from heavy stones, as heavy as your sins are.
God rolled away the stone so that you might see the light,
see the ray of freedom.
But you prefer slavery,
you put shackles on your hands,
you cry out for freedom, wandering in the darkness –
like horses once in the mine.
So blindness will overtake you too.
You will wander like that until you fall,
and you will never know that you walked in circles around your own grave.
Apparent human choices do not tear you from the enchanted circle.
To see the truth, you must reject the lie.
Build the Church in the soul on the rock of your faith,
and not on the full of enthusiasms, emotions and lies
ephemeral sands of your own self.
