Soul’s Rebellion in a World of Lies: Reclaiming Truth in an Era of Enslavement

These days, we don’t know how to rebel. We have no idea how to do it, unless we’ve seen scenes of rebellion in some movies, because reading with understanding isn’t exactly common.

We pick one direction for our rebellion and close our eyes to everything else. What we choose must align with our own “self”; ideally, it causes no stress, but it doesn’t necessarily have to be true.

Instead of genuine opposition, we have:

  • A “left” funded by big capital,
  • A “right” that shouts about values but serves the same masters,
  • “Radicals” who spin within the system’s framework and never truly challenge it.

It’s as if the system created its own rebels, because nowhere can you find the real ones.

Just an empty “self” and its emotions. Nothing worth dying for. No one worth believing in.

The rebel of old grew from ideas and passion, from suffering and injustice. Today, a young person is “raised” on:

  • The screen of a phone or computer,
  • Pornography,
  • TikTok-induced ADHD,
  • Pills, drugs,
  • Education without thought.

The system crushed the rebel in its infancy. Before they can even ask “why?”, they’re already buying the “Premium version” and fighting for “gender diversity.”

Once, exclusion meant death or exile. Today, it means… being banned from social media or not getting likes.

But for modern man, that’s worse than prison. They’d rather stay silent than be alone. They’d rather conform than be called an “extremist.”

That’s the gist of it. The system’s slaves scream about freedom while chaining themselves and others.

It feels pointless to write about this, but it must be done. Maybe someday someone will hear the voice of truth, which now sounds unreal, like a voice from beyond.

There’s no real rebellion without thought, emotion, or spiritual zeal. Where can we find such values in a modern world that’s modern in name only, filled with thoughtlessness, lies, and superstitions?

True rebellion is the soul’s defiance against being fed lies. It’s not a physical fight but an embrace of truth and rejection of falsehood within one’s own soul. It’s the first step, like building a barricade when a counterrevolution begins. The Vendée said “enough” to the madness of the murderous French Revolution, and we must say the same, seeing the madness of murderous globalism.

A skeptic might say:

The Vendée lost. Its people faced a slaughter so cruel it’s hard to describe—a genocide.

Yes, in human, physical terms, it lost. But its spiritual victory was overwhelming. To this day, it remains a symbol of resistance and the fight against communism. It revealed the true face of revolutions: blood-red terror dressed up in Masonic slogans—liberty, equality, fraternity. Those three words carry a destructive power comparable only to a nuclear arsenal. Millions of victims always follow them. That’s what the Vendée exposed—the real face of revolution.

I mention this for a different reason. The Vendée showed the courage and resilience of ordinary people who knew how to say “no.” Many paid for it with their lives and the lives of their families.

Sadly, we’ve reached a time when “liking” the truth is considered true heroism, and sharing it with others is an act of bravery, perhaps even sainthood.

Reading an entire text shared online, not just its headline, is so rare it’s merely an exception that proves the rule of the ignorance and darkness surrounding us.

Centuries ago, Pascal asked:

Are people capable of accepting the truth?

That question remains relevant, and there’s only one answer:

NO!

Only a very few see the truth and understand what they see, making them capable of spiritual rebellion—the kind I’m writing about, the kind that should concern every Catholic.

The world is built on rebellion against God, like a castle without foundations, built on sand. Every so often, a bigger wave comes, and like a flood, it destroys everything built in its folly. The Ark saves a few survivors. But to be saved, you first have to realize you’re a castaway, that the world is sinking. It’s hard to look for a lifeboat if you don’t even know you’re drowning.

The key trait of a lie is that it conceals the truth—so thoroughly that letting even 0.001% of a lie into your moral, religious, or political principles quickly blinds you. That’s how it is now, and how it’s always been.

Rebellion against oneself is what today’s person needs. Understanding one’s own nothingness is the prelude to knowing the Truth, the path laid out by our Lord Jesus Christ. It’s a heavy road of suffering but also the sweetness of hope in being with the Savior.

Think! Thinking doesn’t hurt, but to think, you need to know what to think about. That means reading more than short headlines and realizing that gaining knowledge isn’t about watching mind-numbing videos on internet platforms.

About Me

Let us build the Church in souls on the rock of our faith. God is Spirit and we should worship Him in spirit and truth. Now in the times of apostasy of the Catholic Church administration, when very often we do not have access to real priests, this is very important. It will allow us not only to survive, but also to strengthen our faith. The truth, even if it is hard for us, always comes from God. Let’s not live in a lie. The father of lies is Satan. Let us remember this. The truth is the determinant by which I am guided when I write for several years on the Polish website I founded http://www.niewolnikmaryi.com and it will be the same here – in the English version.

Ps. I encourage suggestions for the translation. It will help me a lot.
