The world is rushing down a highway to hell. Why don’t you see it? Please, stop for a moment, look at it from the outside. Reject, even just for a while, all the noise and the clamor. In silence, you will hear the Truth. In silence, you will see the beast that slowly, yet relentlessly, devours your soul – your greatest treasure, your pearl, which you yourself are throwing to be consumed.
Here is the truth; no, here is the truth; they lie – the truth is with us.… – This is what you hear from every side.
The Truth is one, and it is our Lord Jesus Christ. In God is the whole Truth – not 99.9%, not 80%, but the whole unchanging Truth.
I always repeat: It is impossible to define God with a single word, but if we were to attempt it in our weak human way, that word is TRUTH.
So stop and look at the reality surrounding you with the eyes of your soul.
What will you see?
A terrifying image of a world immersed in lies, in its own lusts and perversions – rushing on a wide road to hell.
You won’t see Satan, because he no longer needs to do almost anything.
People without God are worse than Satan.
An alarming number – the majority of souls are like a herd of cattle, unable to stop, falling into the abyss. The shepherds who drove them on are now being pushed into the pit of hell by the herd of sins they themselves raised. This is the image of today’s modernist church – neither holy nor Catholic.
Some, however, seem to realize that they are being deceived. Somewhere in their souls a spark of truth has appeared. But they are unable to cast off the chains of the world. Their souls suffer, torn apart. Even though they stand at the edge of the highway to hell, the rushing crowd pushes them and slowly swallows them up. These are the followers of various organizations, unable to reject the lie, believing instead in something between YES and NO.
If you look closely, you will see a small group standing behind a stone wall, separated from the main current. The stone wall is not a rock. It is slowly falling apart. People divide into ever smaller groups, into different opinions. By building walls between themselves, they weaken the one that separates them from the world. The stones crumble under the influence of a sense of exceptionalism and superiority for having seen the truth. Even if they know it, God gave it to them not to showcase their ego, but to humbly pass the truth on. They can be compared to the Pharisees, whom our Lord Jesus Christ told us not to imitate, even though they taught and offered sacrifices as God had commanded.
But let this sight not terrify you. Have faith, and it will show you the true rock.
Individuals who do not look back at the world, who do not listen to the calls: Here it is. There it is… They have built the Church in their souls on the rock of their faith – on prayer and work on themselves. Our Lord Jesus Christ is with them and will never abandon them.
Only one thing remains for them: To endure.
They are united in God. God is Spirit, and we should offer Him sacrifice in our souls, and only then unite our spiritual bond with Him with all other external devotions.
God abhors all sacrifices if they do not contain submission to His Most Holy Will.
It is much easier to endure if one closes their eyes and trustingly follows the Blessed Virgin Mary. She will show us the path that is the simplest and gentlest for each of us. She will protect us in time of need. Even though the path is the shortest and the easiest, it still leads uphill, to Golgotha. No one will carry us there.
The soul is your treasure. Take care of it, for it is the dwelling place of our Lord Jesus Christ.
