We forget that all that is given to us – happiness, suffering, joy and worries – are only elements of our life on earth. They occur alternately and are never constant. After moments of joy comes sadness, and after sadness comes joy. In suffering and sadness, we often behave much worse, because we do not want to accept these states of our body and mind, looking for someone to blame.

Unfortunately, instead of turning to God, we blame Him for our failures.
