On May 8, 2025, the next resident of the Vatican was elected. Cardinal Robert Francis Prevost became pope, taking the name Leo XIV. The first from the USA, which clearly confirms what I wrote earlier: if someone wants to know who will be pope, they should ask in Washington.
As befits a representative of the modernist synagogue of Satan, he is embroiled in controversies regarding the handling of sexual abuse cases from his time as a provincial and bishop. Here are the key allegations:
Chicago, 2000: As provincial of the Augustinians, Prevost allowed Fr. James Ray, suspended for abusing minors, to live in a monastery near a school (St. Thomas the Apostle). The decision, made at the request of the Archdiocese of Chicago, did not include notifying the school of Ray’s past. Ray performed limited priestly functions until 2002, when stricter rules led to his transfer (laicized in 2012).
Chiclayo, 2022: Three sisters reported molestation from 2006–2010 by Fr. Eleuterio Vásquez and Fr. Ricardo Yesquéna. In 2022, they accused Bishop Prevost of failing to conduct an investigation after their report, not suspending the priests, and providing insufficient support. They claim Vásquez was still celebrating Masses in 2023. In 2025, InfoVaticana reported an alleged payment of $150,000 for silence .
As head of the Congregation for Bishops, Prevost played a key role in removing the conservative Bishop Strickland from Tyler, Texas, and the leading French conservative bishop, Dominique Rey, from his diocese of Fréjus-Toulon. Meanwhile, he appointed openly heterodox bishops to dioceses worldwide. The most notable is Cardinal McElroy, installed as Archbishop of Washington, despite being implicated in covering up sexual abuse by Cardinal McCarrick.
During the COVID pandemic, Prevost mandated receiving Communion in the hand and confession by phone, and of course, promoted vaccines tainted by abortion. He “‘s fully committed to “synodality,” open-border migration, and LGBT rights. James Martin likes him, and that means only one thing: the lavender mafia will continue to rule the Vatican.
Truly an excellent choice as confirmation that they illegally use the name Catholic Church… and the devil is bursting with laughter.
The pseudo-traditionalists hope for the lifting of restrictions on celebrating the Tridentine Mass, and then they would surely allow him to spout various heresies, which they would even explain away in some convoluted manner. We observed this during Bergoglio’s time. As long as he didn’t impose radical restrictions, he could spew his blasphemies.
Some hope he won’t restrict young people’s access to traditional rites. I don’t understand the assumption. Does it mean that if he imposes restrictions, they’ll meekly go to the slaughter and wallow with him in heresies and blasphemies, but if he doesn’t restrict, they’ll convert and not do so?
One thing is certain: the so-called traditionalist circles will continue to argue whether he is pope or not. As always, you must take care of your own soul.
Let us build churches in our souls on the rock of our faith and in no way, not even the slightest, support apostates.
