Catholic during the Great Apostasy

Let us build the Church in souls on the rock of our faith !!!

The battle for the soul is the battle for life!

I often mention in my texts, the ongoing battle for our souls. It is worth outlining, as simply as possible, how to prepare for such a battle, and reminding us of what everyone should know before facing an open battle with a very formidable adversary such as Satan.

One of the first things to realise is that Satan is an angel; a fallen one, but an angel, and therefore not stupid and guided by two basic principles – hatred of God and contempt for people

Let me just remind you that this contempt makes it so that even if Satan is forced to give something to man, there is always a price to pay, and it is the highest price. – No, it is not our life; our life does not care about the prince of this world. We can die in suffering like dogs under a fence, or die in luxury. it doesn’t matter. He is not interested in anything but our souls.

If he sees that we are on the wrong path he leaves us alone; he does not get his hands dirty with human affairs because he abhors and despises everything related to humans. Therefore, the general rule that applies in spiritual warfare is no discussion and no listening to what he communicates to us. Even if he tells 99% of the truth this 1% lie will destroy us. Therefore, among other things, our Lord Jesus Christ commands us :

Yes, Yes, No , No – and everything in between comes from Satan.

These are simple principles and no Catholic should have any problems with them. Although some curious people listen to the sensationalism of exorcists telling how they forced Satan to speak the truth, and worse, suggest what he supposedly said.

With the lack of basic knowledge of Catholic doctrine I will not discuss, I will only repeat once again – one does not discuss with Satan.

Communists are such representatives of Satan on earth. In the years after the war, the last Polish partisans fighting the communist terror introduced by the Bolsheviks and the Polish communists used to say: you do not argue with communists, you shoot at communists. Let us stick to this. Of course, we do not shoot at anyone, but we stick to this general principle.

Preparing oneself for such a struggle is important.

Everyone must realise that they are nothing if they are alone, without God. This, too, is a simple truth, but one that is extremely difficult to accept in today’s world. We may nod to it in theory, but in practice we behave as if it means nothing. The human ‘ego’ has become much bigger than its reason and knowledge. It has grown to such proportions that people believe that Heaven is asking them to do something, or our Lord Jesus Christ is the kind of smiling indulgent colleague or cleaning lady who will come and clean up the mess left behind by their sinful lives.

The vast majority can’t even show enough respect to kneel down and not stretch out their dirty hands for the Blessed Sacrament. It is sheer folly to think that consecration occurs on the Novus Ordo, but the modernist adherents believe it. Simple question – what God do they believe in that they don’t show him a modicum of respect? What does it actually mean to them, to be dust before God? Do you necessarily have to reach the bottom to understand this? In human terms, you may not reach it, because as I said, Satan doesn’t care if you live in luxury or under a fence – what matters is that you are far from God.

The effects of this disbelief are visible.

Sexual , financial scandals and ever new heresies. Not to mention the increase in false messages and Medjugorje-style apparitions.

You will know them by their fruits. Isn’t that what was said?

However, let us return to the subject . Recognition of one’s own nothingness is an essential part of preparing for battle. I do not understand why many people are put off by this. After all, it is known that overconfidence often leads to doom. However, by knowing our weaknesses and realising that the enemy knows them too, we can better prepare ourselves. Where we commit the most sins is where Satan will attack. That is where we need to strengthen our defences.

For that you need an honest look at yourself and an examination of conscience. Not express -….. no more sins I can remember.

A true follower of our Lord Jesus Christ is not one who claims to have no sins ( these are self-obsessed liars, for there is no man without sin), but one who fights his evil inclinations and deeds.

It is clear from the above that all preparation for the war against Satan is nothing more than following Catholic teaching – as anyone calling themselves Catholic should know.

You follow what the Gospel communicates – God sees this and protects you.

Right, how simple it all is? Any “but…” of our own is a gateway to Satan.

So very simple, just like our faith, only people always mess things up.

Intentions – We don’t pay attention to them completely.

Without correct intentions there is no spiritual development. There is spiritual emptiness and sacrifices that God abhors!

Yes, sacrifices that God abhors!

Only there is one problem- Who offers sacrifices to God nowadays anyway?

No, I am not talking about the Mass now, but about everyday life. Everything we do should be sacrificed to God, but we behave as if we were living for ourselves.

The correct intention of our actions determines everything – our mortal life, but above all our Salvation.

Our faith has a beginning and an end in our souls. As we know, and certainly should know – God is Spirit and we should worship Him in spirit and truth.

What most think is a display of deep faith is sometimes just a shallow worthless show for other people.

Fr Robert Mader demonstrated this well in his text:

The Lord’s Day, he believed, is a day on which Christians mock their God. They are not much more serious about the Mass either. A working day is better. Each one turns out to be what it is.

On Sunday there is a lot of pretence, calculating, making up with faces, superficiality. Even in devotional exercises. The Mass lies. Not in and of itself, but the ordination of it by today’s Catholics….

As we prepare for battle, we need to know whether our desire to win has intentions in line with God’s will or is merely a vain belief in our own strength.

We cannot hesitate and look back like Lot’s wife, because instead of feeling supported by God, who is like a rock, we ourselves will become a worthless stone.

The whole war is being fought in our souls, but one must also be prepared for the impressions to be as real as possible. The spiritual world exists and if you want to be converted, i.e. born again, you have to win the battle in your soul and for your own soul. If the spiritual world exists then it goes without saying that everything that happens in it is as real and affecting as possible.

This is also something to bear in mind.

To be continued…

About Me

Let us build the Church in souls on the rock of our faith. God is Spirit and we should worship Him in spirit and truth. Now in the times of apostasy of the Catholic Church administration, when very often we do not have access to real priests, this is very important. It will allow us not only to survive, but also to strengthen our faith. The truth, even if it is hard for us, always comes from God. Let’s not live in a lie. The father of lies is Satan. Let us remember this. The truth is the determinant by which I am guided when I write for several years on the Polish website I founded http://www.niewolnikmaryi.com and it will be the same here – in the English version.

Ps. I encourage suggestions for the translation. It will help me a lot.
