Catholic during the Great Apostasy

Darkness has engulfed the world
The lie has become the truth
And the truth hatred speech
Values have shifted poles
Virtue has been replaced by promiscuity
No one remembers about honesty anymore
I close my eyes tired of the day
But sleep does not come only images hurting my soul
Not understood surrounded by numbers of evil
I don’t know if I’m fighting
I try to survive
So I lose helplessly watching the world devour everyone around me
Closer and closer to me are people immersed in mindlessness
Empty mannequins
Without grace or beauty
Without thinking
Not even mentioning the question of salvation
Falling down has become the norm
Standing up a revolutionary act
After night comes day
But immersed in darkness
They will never wake up
Yes I know it’s scary
But to convert you need to know where to go
The world is pointing in the opposite direction and they have cast God away
So it’s a waste of tears
I will pray silently
I will humbly ask
But for whom first
Family
Friends
Or maybe for myself
Maybe for the bad ones
Maybe for the good ones
There’s no time for all of them so I’ll shout in a whisper of suffering
I am sad, God, until death
And I will plunge further into the abyss of silence
