Catholic during the Great Apostasy

There is so much I would like to say to you, God.

So much more I would like to do

I sink into unconsciousness

In oblivion of all things

Sometimes the soul weeps, but the tears are not me

Again the walls, the crown of thorns of life.

I find it so hard to get up

Pick up the cross and go on

The darkness from which you have plucked me is so close now

The soul no longer screams

The heart no longer cries

So much God I would like to say to you….

So much to do…

Why don’t you take me away ?

Why ? Tell me, please!

The memory is gone and with it the awareness

That having You , Lord , man is never alone.

There is so much more I would like to write

But what for?

I cannot break through the wall of unbelief alone

Nice pictures and images, but in souls a boundless emptiness.

Maybe it’s a good thing I’m going away like this

I won’t remember how much evil I’ve done

So much I would like to tell you, God, but there is no more time

I’ll get up even though I don’t have the strength

How far I will go you know only you ….

The days have become short, the nights long

I cry but not a single tear falls
