I did not bring peace buta sword

From the pit of hell
from Satan’s darkness
you pulled me out Lord
so that I could stand on the ruins
so that I could see and understand
what is left here
then I looked at the enormity of sin
then I saw the ruins of our faith
and my heart wept with blood
I humbly kneel before You Lord
sharpening the sword for the days of Your Glory
only for You do I fall to my knees
only for You have I been destined to die

Lord forgive my daring
but if I am supposed to bow my neck to a man
throw me back to where you pulled me out of
blood flowing from Your wounds fills my soul
and they think they tasted some good wine
but the time is slowly running out
Your name will shine bright like the sun
and I will stand to fight one last time
