Catholic during the Great Apostasy

You can’t be Catholic by supporting abortion, but just because you don’t support abortion doesn’t mean you’re Catholic. This is what very many people cannot understand. It is a paradoxical situation when a modernist considers himself a Catholic and even a so-called traditionalist, because he does not support abortion and believes that marriage is a union between a man and a woman. After all, like-minded people can be found everywhere, even among atheists and pagans, so these cannot be matters that determine our faith. For a Catholic, these are not matters of worldview, but of Catholic teaching without acceptance of which one cannot call oneself a Catholic. We can’t even in our minds think otherwise, because it is not a field for any discussion. We have God’s 10 commandments, and they are not up for any interpretation, bending or stretching, because they are the principles of our faith, and breaking any of them brings upon us grave sin. God is unchangeable and our faith must be the same.

The most important commandment is the first. Worshipping other gods is unacceptable for a Catholic, who, seeing such things, should immediately flee, so that no even the smallest part of his soul is stained by such blasphemy. Of course, if he feels that his spiritual condition is strong enough that his soul will not suffer, he can and even should protest.

However, it should be remembered that we should first care about the salvation of our own soul, and only later think about others. What use is a lifeguard who throws himself into helping a drowning person if he can’t swim himself? Inevitably, both will go down.

St. John the Apostle does not even tell us not to greet heretics because he has hatred for them, but out of concern for the souls of the faithful. Any contact with evil can be tragic in its consequences, because we expose ourselves to temptation, which for a soul that has not yet built the Church on the rock of its faith is a danger. It can falter in faith, and instability on the edge can result in a fall into the depths of hell.

Therefore, it is no disgrace to avert one’s eyes and plug one’s ears so that nothing of such deviations reaches one’s soul. It is even commendable behavior if you leave the scene of the crime against God – not looking back, rejecting any kind of cooperation with such an institution or with such a person.

Unfortunately, we observe quite different behavior today. The faithful, instead of not looking and not listening, and then rejecting, pretend that they do not see and do not hear – so they do not reject. And as a consequence they are stuck in hypocrisy trying to hide something that is visible anyway. Reality conjuring expression won’t help, because from whom are they trying to cover the truth? won’t help, because from whom are they trying to cover the truth? From God, for whom nothing is covered and who knows our thoughts, but most importantly, every nook and cranny of our souls.

There is no other way to describe this than pure insanity. Such people are worse than open enemies of the Beloved Savior, because not only do they condemn themselves to damnation, but also by their example they attract others who consider them righteous Catholics.

Think of how many times you’ve pondering off predictions of various signs to come, such as the three days of darkness. And you wait for them, pushing aside all spiritual matters. What good will it do you to live to see these signs, if your soul is condemned by the negligence and sins you have not rejected, because you waited without doing anything.

Do not listen to the prophets of the apocalypse, because the apocalypse will be a victory over the hordes of Satan that have taken over the world and the structures of the Church along with the faithful . You can’t sit and wait for things to develop, but you must be ready to reject sins, the false church , their “prophets” or other “visionaries”. Take care of your soul , clean and prepare a dwelling in it for God .

Communing with sin is like a discussion with Satan, who is a fallen, but nevertheless an angel. He surpasses us in cleverness and intelligence . Without an established faith in the Most High God, we are only puppets in his hands. He often uses the lowest human instincts, such as lusts, sins of impurity – which God greatly abhors. Satan uses them because they affect all of man’s senses and it is easier to entrap him.

Talking about sins of impurity or carnal sins should be short, firm without unnecessary explanations. Any unraveling and details open our minds to evil desires. You can see the shadow of the fallen one by listening to priests, especially the elderly, talking about some perversion that they advocate.

You look at them and think: what are you old men talking about? How do you know such things? Why do you delve into abominations when you were supposed to live a celibate life? Why do you justify them?

Remember that you can neither watch nor listen to such people, and despite the disgust you feel, you should pray for their return to normalcy. But also without despair – which will be to your benefit .

Take care of your soul always and everywhere, and its light will help others.

The soul should radiate the light of God, not your light and your views, so always remember to keep it clean and ready for the coming of the owner of Jesus Christ our Lord.
