Do you really think that way?

Do you truly believe that God will forgive you everything and you can do whatever you want? Do you really think so? Do you think that Jesus Christ endured the terrible agony of Golgotha so that you could have fun, dance, sing, and revel in sin because everything will be forgiven? The Most Holy Virgin Mary stood beneath the cross in silence, witnessing the torment of her Son. Do you realize what she went through? Think! Do you realize what she went through? So, why do you think she will intercede for you if you don’t even kneel before His Majesty and instead reach out your hand?

Do you know what our cross is? The Catholic cross for each of us is a tremendous burden of our soul! Awareness of committed sins, of the smallest wrongs inflicted. Our weak human nature causes us to stumble, but we acknowledge what is a sin and take it upon ourselves to carry. We beg for forgiveness through repentance and sorrow. That’s how we encounter the love of God. Only that way.
