Torn hearts

I’ve torn my heart
life stitches it with nails
now I know why it hurts
I’ve sacrificed a piece of myself
immersed in hatred
who took it away?
what was taken away?
Nobody
Everything
we take out a knife ourselves
we cut out our souls
and
we eat them drinking with sin
and he’s laughing on the side
I’ve torn my heartI’ve torn it out of my chest
and the empty hole
is being hammered down with nails
and the Cross is creaking
we’re hitting with hammers so hard
Mother is watching silently
as we’re pushing through
this one snatches the purple coat
this one has the crown of thorns
and
nails
and
nails
the hammer in my hands
the hammer in our hands
turn your eyes to the Virgin
so gently with love She will stitch the heart together
and put your lives together
