The past has been, has passed and will not return. We should learn and learn from it, not ponder it endlessly. The past was never perfect – like everything human, tainted by sin and foolishness, by trusting in people rather than God…. We have slowly fallen. Nothing will change that. It is not true that things were beautiful and wonderful before the last Council. Someone brought up this generation that accepted change so quickly.
What did Our Lady of God say at Fatima, or even earlier at Lourdes?
We were becoming Judas and not listening to God’s admonitions. 200,000 people saw the miracle of the Sun. And what happened afterwards? It didn’t change much. Recall how many people saw the miracles of our Lord Jesus Christ. And what did it change for that majority who shouted:
Crucify, Crucify
As always, only a handful remained. Jeremiah was lonely too, not counting the handful open to the truth. This is always the case. Many considered Napoleon to be the beast that came out of the sea, many consider Francis to be the antichrist, but support him anyway – because any remaining in communion with blasphemy is supporting him. One can, for example, consider whether Wojtyla was the beast mortally wounded and healed.
However, what will that change?
Nothing.
One must, of course, learn from history, but not endlessly dissect .
Where your soul is now is important, because your future depends on how you act today. If you cleanse your dwelling of sins now, when the Lord comes, he will see your soul ready and dwell in it. Otherwise darkness awaits you There is nothing new in this .
Of course, Francis uses a perversity truly satanic in attacking clinging to the past. One can fall into such a trap, thinking that he is talking about the same thing. No, he is, as always, lying and falsifying. He is attacking the past as holding to Catholic doctrines and teachings. And yet it is all unchangeable and does not belong only to the past.
The Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ is both past, present and future. It is timeless. No matter in what temporal context you want to change it Bergoglio – you are damned, as indeed is all modernism – because the words of St Paul are also timeless.
Looking after our own salvation is the most important thing in our lives and there really is nothing more important. This, however, does not consist in following any man’s lectures. Man’s lectures, whether actually or seemingly wise and pointing to other wisdom, also human, will one day crumble into dust. Nothing created by man is eternal. Knowledge is nothing if it does not lead you to the Truth. How few people remember this. God wants very much to see you under the fig tree, as you pray here and now, taking care of your future. In a place where no one can see you, you are alone in a human way, but you can be filled with the presence of God. If it is His will – but you are very much in control. Cry out and it will be opened to you. So don’t stop praying. Always at any time of the day or night unite with God – so quietly in your souls and His love will radiate from you. To the human eye imperceptible, but to the soul visible.
